My Sister My Friend Summer Empowerment & Exploration Experience, a program of Sisters In Sync, Inc., is a 2-week camp for middle and high school girls who are interested in strengthening their life skills and traveling during the summer. My Sister My Friend is a purpose-driven, fun, and exciting program. Girls will engage in Life Skills Development modules such as cooking, participate in community outreach such as food distribution, and embark on adventurous field trips such as visiting the Museum of Ice Cream.

Each day is a different experience!

There are two components to our Summer Experience. Empowerment & Exploration.

  • Empowerment focuses on our 10 Modules such as, Who Am I? and Off To A Great Start. Modules engage girls with activities and lay the foundation for field trips. (High school girls will have a specific focus on college preparation, summer job training, and life plans following high school. We operate This Way ONward, Old Navy employment program for connecting teens with retail jobs.)
  • Exploration focuses on learning through travel. Girls will be immersed into navigating the world around them with in state and out-of-state trips.

Dates: June 23 – July 3

Hours: 9am – 5pm

Location: Severn Center & Patterson Park Public Charter School (Locations are for pick/ up & drop/ off)

Transportation: Girls will be transported from their designated pick-up location to the trip location of the day.

Food: Girls will be provided with snacks and water only. She should bring a lunch that does not require heating.

Scholarships: Up to $675 in scholarships for low to moderate income families. Email info@sisnsyncinc.org to apply

Price: $487.50 per week | First 5 girls registered will receive a $50 discount on their first week. Must pay first week in full. Pay HERE

What to know about our 2 Out-of-State trips…

·        May require early drop-off and later pick-up times.

·        Turkey Hill Ice Cream Experience will include camp

·        transportation to Pennsylvania.

·        Financial District & Wall Street Tour will include public

·        transportation on Amtrak. Drop-off and pick-up will be at BWI

·        Amtrak.

Price: $487.50 per week/ per girl

Deposit: $85 (non-refundable deposit due upon registration)

Final Payment: Due June 6

Cancelation & Refund Policy

Parents who submit a cancelation notice by Friday, May 30, 3pm, will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable $85 fee. Girls who are dismissed from camp due to a violation of My Sister My Friend camp Code of Conduct will not receive a refund.
